CUSD Online Re-Enrollment process || Parent Portal Login || Instrucciones españolas
Central Unified is happy to announce the option for parents to complete their Fall 2016 enrollment paperwork online via the CUSD Parent Portal.
This online system will allow parents to update their student's Address, Emergency Contacts, internet and electronic media authorizations, and other district information. This will eliminate the need for parents to fill out and transport these forms at the beginning of each school year.
As an added bonus, parents who elect to complete their student's enrollment paperwork online will be given early access to their student's Fall classroom assignments via email.
Step 1 - If you don't already have one, Create
a Parent Portal account.
There are 3 Ways to get a CUSD Parent Portal account
·
Check your email account- If you gave the front office of your school your email address
this year, chances are we have already created one for you.
·
Stop by your student’s school- If we don’t already have your email address, you can stop by the
Admin office of your student’s school, and give it to us. Once we have entered
it into the computer your login information will be automatically emailed to
you.
·
Create one yourself
with information from the Parent Portal Letter- The Parent Portal Letter has directions for
Parents on how to create a Parent Portal account and link it to their student’s
data
High
School & Middle School parents should have received a copy of the Parent Portal
letter in your student's first day packet. If you need a new copy, you or
your student can pick one up at their school office. |
Step 2 - The Data Confirmation Process
Beginning 5/11/2016 and continuing through 6/10/2016, parents can
log into the CUSD Parent Portal to complete the Student Data Confirmation
Process.
On the Data Confirmation screen, update as necessary the student information on
each of the following 7 tabs:
1.
Residence Survey – A
simple survey used to connect CUSD families with appropriate services for their
living situation
2.
Demographics- Review your student’s demographic information and make changes if
necessary. Any changes to your residential address will be reviewed by site
staff, and you may be contacted to provide proof of residency
3.
Contacts-
Review the list of emergency contacts and make any
needed changes. Please add your student’s physician information if available.
Also, please note that any existing contacts with an email address will be
notified by the system with the name of any contacts added, updated, or
removed.
4.
Medical Information- Please note any new or updated medical
conditions relevant to your student. This information will be forwarded to the
school nurse for review and possible follow up.
5.
Authorizations & Prohibitions- This section contains a series of questions
that must be reviewed and answered annually. Please take a moment to review and
answer each question.
6.
Documents- A
list of downloadable documents that the district or school makes available
parents and students. Some documents like the Parent / Student handbook are
required to be downloaded before you can complete the re-enrollment process.
7.
Final Data Confirmation- Please click on the four checkboxes to certify that you have
reviewed and updated (if necessary) your student’s information and click the
‘Save’ button to finalize your re-enrollment.
Step 3 - At the end of summer, prior to general availability, your student's Fall 2016 Classroom Assignments will be emailed to your Parent Portal account email address.
