·         HOW DO I GET TO THE DROPIN PORTAL?

You access the Dropin Portal here: https://portal.centralusd.k12.ca.us/dropin  Please add this URL as a bookmark in your web browser.

 

·         CAN YOU MAKE ME AN ACCOUNT? CAN YOU SEND ME MY USERNAME / PASSWORD?

You don't need a separate account to access the Dropin application.  Your CUSD Username and password are your login credentials.

 

·         When I try to log in I receive the error message 'Incorrect User Type'.  What gives?

You have the wrong job title in Aeries.  You can double check your job title by logging into Aeries and looking at the Staff table (School Info → Staff).  If you don't have the word 'Principal' or 'Guidance' in your job title, then you can't log in.  Please contact Human Resources to have your job title updated.

 

·         I'm able to log in, but the list of teachers I see is for the wrong school.

Looks like your Aeries Staff record hasn't been updated to reflect your new job assignment at your new school.  Please contact the Human Resources department to have your primary school code or job assignment updated.

 

·         I'm able to log in, and the teachers listed are correct, except teacher XYZ is missing from my list.  How do I get access to teacher XYZ?

There is probably an error in the Aeries Staff file.  Wrong school assignment or they don't have the word 'Teacher' in their job title.  You can double check this in the Aeries Staff table (School Info → Staff) If you can't access this staff record, or the word Teacher isn't in their job title, please contact Human Resources to have their staff record updated.
